Albert Homer

Services for Albert Homer will be held Monday at 11:00 am at Webb Chapel with Rev. Chuck Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Gillsburg Baptist Church Cemetery in Osyka, MS with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Homer, 81, of Meridian, died Thursday, September 15, 2016 at North Pointe Health and Rehab.

He is survived by his wife, Birdie Homer; daughters, Pam Homer and Jonella Lowe (Robert); sons, Foy "Bubba" Scroggins, Phil Scroggins (Lori), and Tommy Scroggins (Niki); grandchildren, Albert Homer Watts, Andrew Lowe, Chandler Lowe, Kristian, Anna, Zack, and Tyler Scroggins; several great grandchildren; brothers, Bruce and John Homer; sisters, Judy Homer, Kathy Collins, and Janet Collins; and sister in law, Sue Homer.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Harriette Patricia Homer, granddaughter, Patsy Jane "PJ" Watts; brothers, Georgie Homer, Ronnie Homer, Richard Homer, Sr., David Homer, and Stephen Homer; and sisters, Joan Homer Scoggins and Dorothy Hackworth.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Rutledge, Dan Radar, J.R. Davison, Jim Wilson, Andrew Lowe, and Chandler Lowe. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Dempsey, J.W. Espey, and Don Parker.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4-6 pm at Webb Funeral Home.
