Alice Shirley

Funeral services will be held for Alice Janette McLelland Shirley Wednesday, February 20th, 1:00 p.m., at James F. Webb Funeral Home with Rev. Franklin McLelland and Rev. Robert Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Baptist Church of Toomsuba.
Ms. Shirley, 80, of Toomsuba, passed away Saturday, February 16th at Specialty Hospital.
She was a devoted homemaker and retired floral designer. She was also a member of Liberty Baptist Church of Toomsuba for 55 years. She will be most remembered for being a loving mother and nanny.
She is survived by her son, Eddie Shirley of Toomsuba, MS; daughter, Carol Thomas and husband Donald of Toomsuba, MS; grandchildren, Crystal Dearman and husband Sam of Braxton, MS, and Gavin Thomas of Toomsuba, MS; great grandchildren, Alice "Allie" Dearman and Colt Dearman of Braxton, Ms; brothers, Rev. Franklin McLelland and wife Brenda of Marion, MS, and Kenny McLelland and wife Kathy of Arcadia, LA; sister Faye Hammond of Greer, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Alice Dunnam McLelland of Toomsuba, MS.
Pallbearers will include Gavin Thomas, Sam Dearman, Walter McLelland, Mark McLelland, John Smith, and Chuck Lafleur.
Honorary pallbearers will include Sammy Culpepper, John Culpepper, David Shirley.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
