Services for Mr. Alva Rony Newman will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 11:00 am at Tom M. Wages Funeral Home Chapel in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Burial will be in Gwinnett Memorial Park Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

Mr. Newman, 75, of Enterprise, died Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Regency Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Patt Newman daughter, Shelli Newman stepson, Tommy Fowler and three grandsons, Wesley, Bryan, and Bradley Fowler.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Vertie Newman and brothers, Jimmy and Tommy Newman.

Visitation will be Monday from 68 pm at Webb Funeral Home in Meridian, and Tuesday from 68 at Tom M. Wages Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
