Graveside services for Amelia Balchunas will be held Monday at 11:30 am at St. Patrick Cemetery with Father Frank Cosgrove officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Balchunas, 89, of Meridian, passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 at Bedford Care Center in Marion.

Amelia was born in New York and after traveling extensively while her husband Charles was in the Navy, lived in Meridian since 1966. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Charles Balchunas daughter and son in law, Sandra and Allen Byrd granddaughter and her husband, April and Jimmy Britain and great grandson, Connor Moorehead.

She was preceded in death by her son, Charles R. Balchunas.
