Services for Anne Culpepper Driggers will be held Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 1:00pm at Webb Chapel with Bro. Danny Lanier officiating. Burial will be Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Driggers, 76, of Meridian, died Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. Margaret Anne Culpepper Driggers was born October 16, 1937. She became the child of Robert and Inez Culpepper through adoption. Her parents raised and loved her and gave her the life she deserved. Ann was a devoted wife and mother. But, above all she loved the Lord. She was an inspiration to others, proving that there is no reason not to attend church. She was a faithful member of Northcrest Baptist Church. She had chronic back issues that left her in severe pain and made the tasks difficult. She would, however, get up and go to church anyway. She would always say by the end of the service, God had made her feel better
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Calvin Crosby Driggers, Sr., son, Calvin Crosby Driggers, Jr Imelda daugthers: Suzanne Driggers Alawine Butch Amanda Driggers Futral Robbie seven grandchildren: Sacho Regala, Stephany Joy Regala, Kathyreen Regala, Jessica Alawine Begley Jason, Danielle Alawine Swancey Trek, Bethann Futral, Nikki Futral seven great grandchildren: Loureen Qyle, Quandice, Paul, Kameron Clayton, Dixie Clayton, Michael Begley, and Caitlynn Begley sisterin law, Carolyn cox cousins: Susan Wright Dan, Bill Covert and Cathleen Gavain numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death her parents, Robert Blanks Culpepper and Inez Covert Culpepper and numerous Inlaws.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 12:00 to 1:00pm at the funeral home.
