Annie Lee Rucker

Services for Annie Lee Rucker will be held today at 11 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Higginbotham officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Rucker, 79, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian. She had enjoyed several occupations during her life but she enjoyed being a paper carrier for the Meridian Star the most of all of them.

Survivors include her sons, James I. Rucker and his wife Ruth, Gerald Rucker and his wife Kathy, Wayne Rucker and his wife Fran and Richard Rucker and his wife Liz 14 grandchildren 14 greatgrandchildren sister, Gert McKinnon and her husband Lamar nephew, Steve McKinnon and his wife Wanda nieces, Barbara Rigdon and her husband Dennis and Rita Sue Dean.

She was preceded in death by her parents, I. Odell and Nettie Russell one grandchild and one greatgrandchild.

Pallbearers are Matt Rucker, Robert Rucker, Michael Rucker, Mark Rucker and Dennis Rigdon.

Honorary pallbearer is Steve McKinnon.

Visitation will be today, two hours prior to services at the church.
