Anthony "Tony" Dwight Litchfield

Services for Anthony “Tony” Dwight Litchfield will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Community Church with Bro. George Warner officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-Downtown is honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Litchfield, 58, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at his residence.

Tony enjoyed singing, playing his guitar, watching the New Orleans Saints play football, and spending time with his beloved dog, Astro. However, his greatest love was his grandchildren. He was also a mentor and “Uncle” to many and loved by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children, Maegan Green (Joe) and Dustin Litchfield (Heather); bonus child, Marionna Evans (Dewayne); grandchildren, Cameron J. Litchfield, Natalie Green, Piper Litchfield, Elealah Baldwin, Sophia Litchfield, Huntley Evans, and John Green; sisters, Kim Litchfield and Daphne Massingill (Richie); several nieces and nephews; and countless friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Wendell “Winky” and Charlotte Hopkins Litchfield.

Pallbearers will include Steven Litchfield, Jeremy Litchfield, John Ethridge, Purvis Shelton, Josh Hopkins, Jonathan Hopkins, and David Hopkins. 

Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church on the day of service.
