Arnold Hardy

Service for Mr. Arnold Hardy will be at graveside on Friday, January 17, 2020, at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Jack Kern officiating. Interment will be in Old Barker Cemetery in Marion.

Mr. Hardy, 74, of Meridian, passed away on January 14, 2020, at University Medical Center in Jackson. He was a retired truck driver, having worked for a local bakery for several years. He had served in the United States Army.

He is survived by his two daughters, Mary "Angie" Scarbrough (Gerald) and Cher Gates; Grandchildren, Lee Scarbrough, Justin Gates (Chassidy), Shelby McKelvain (Dustin), Savannah Hillhouse (Trevor), Matthew Scarbrough; Great Grandchildren, Lexi Addy, Madaline Gates, Tyler McKelvain; Brother, Jim Hardy (Ruth), Nallie Hardy Jr. (Susie), Earl Hardy (Sheryl), and Tommy Hardy (Wanda); numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded by his wife of 54 years, Jewel Hardy; Parents, Nallie and Mary Hardy; Brother, James Hardy; and a Great Grandson, Ethan Boyd McKelvain.
