Graveside services for Barbara Ruth Freeman Dearman Rutland will be Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 2:00 pm, at Friendship Cemetery, in Duffee, MS. Mrs. Rutland, 88, died May 19, 2022, at Forrest General Hospital, in Hattiesburg, MS. Webb & Stephens Funeral Home - North is honored to be handling her arrangements.

Barbara was a retired nurse. She loved flowers, especially yellow roses and she loved airplanes. She loved watching the planes and always dreamed of one day becoming a pilot.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Cebra Lanaa Roland (Alex); her son Carl Dearman (Jennifer); grandchildren Bobby Roland, Bruce Roland, James Dearman, Christopher Dearman, Justin Dearman, and Cody Dearman; a great grandchild Travis Dearman and a sister Evelyn White.

She was preceded in death by her parents Nancy and Bruce Freeman; a husband Cecil G. Rutland; brothers William and Johnny Spence along with a sister Mary Etta Spence.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
