Services for Benjamin Jack Jowers will be held Friday at 10:00 am at Webb Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Culpepper officiating. Burial will be at Coke's Chapel Cemetery in Ward, AL with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jowers, 67, of Meridian, died Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Anderson Hospital. He was an Over the Road Truck Driver for many years, but enjoyed his retirement being at home close to family. He loved his garden, his music and his pets, but mostly his family and spending time with them.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Jowers; daughter, Tracy Bragg; step children, Charles and Brian Hanson; grandson, Dalton Riley; step grandchildren, McKenna Curlee, Blair Andrus, Brayden Hanson, Logan Hanson, Masy Hanson, and Mar-lyn Hanson; sister, Judy Diane Jowers Welch; and an aunt, Mattie Roberts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Mable Jowers.

Pallbearers will be Roy Long, Dalton Riley, George Welch, Jr., Ronald Holloway, Steffun Seward, Danny Kirkland, James Rainer, Brian Hanson, and Charles Hanson.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
