Business owner Services for Betty McIntosh Barnes will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home with Revs. David Price and Jimmy Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Barnes, 75, of Meridian, died Sunday, May 5, 2008 at Anderson's Regional Medical Center in Meridian. She was the owner of Betty Barnes Preschool Center. Survivors include two sons, Mac Barnes and his wife Sandra Barnes of Meridian and Clay Barnes of Meridian; one daughter, Beth Waite of Meridian; six grandchildren, Jennifer Sparks and her husband Leon Sparks, Katie Barnes, Andy Waite, Libby Waite and Todd Waite; one great-grandchild, Wesley Pace Sparks. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Mac Barnes Sr.; and parents, Roger McIntosh and Blanche Hammon McIntosh. Visitation will be today from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Mrs. Barnes was a member of Central United Methodist Church.
