Betty Hasson

Services for Mrs. Betty Jean Walker Hasson will be held Friday, December 17,2021, 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Augustine Palimattam officiating. Interment will follow at Meridian Memorial Park. James F. Webb Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Hasson, 82, of Meridian, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021, at her residence due to parkinson's disease.

Betty Jean was born in Jackson, MS on March 15, 1939. She graduated St. Patrick's Catholic High School (formerly St. Aloysius) in 1957.

She is survived by her husband Joe Hasson; children, Selina Rene Hasson Price, Kimbery Hasson Brown, James Lowery Hasson, and Matthew Perry Hasson; grandchildren, Christoper Matthew Brown, Dustin Marshall Brown, Mason Clark Mitchell, Dylan Keith Shirley, Chelsea Hope Shirley Heiser, Victoria Lane Hasson, Gina Marie Hasson McCullough, and Tylor Jean Hasson; and sister, Dorothy Elizabeth Walker Harrington.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Nelson Lowery Walker and Helen Francis Peller Walker.

Pallbearers will include Marshall Brown, Cameron Heiser, Sean Patrick McCullough, Mason Mitchell, Dylan Shirley, and Waylon Temple.

Visitation will be held and hour prior to service at the church.
