Betty Johnson

Funeral services for Betty Earl Johnson will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021, 3:00 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home with visitation held two hours prior to service. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson, 71, of Meridian, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by her children, Kathy Young (Joey), Belinda Benthall, and Nikki Knight (Geremy); grandchildren, Rex Benthall, Amber Johnson, Matt Cross (Alesha), Allison Scarbrough (James), Christopher Knight, and Donovan Knight; great grandchildren, Izaiah Benthall, Pierre Benthall, Jacent Morgan, Colton Cross, Alex Cross, Jaylee Scarbrough, Jase Scarbrough, Carmen Scarbrough, and Camrien Scarbrough; sisters, Pat Petty and Nancy George; brother, Sam Eakes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry “Sonny” Johnson.

Pallbearers will include Stephen Wayne Hoffer, Rusty Edwards, John Johnson, Raymond Flowers, Earl Johnson, and Ray Crane.
