Betty Moore

Carol Moore, born Betty Carol Joyner to Elton E. Joyner and Sybil R. (Morris) Joyner on March 25th 1948, passed at her home surrounded by her family on January 4th 2019. Carol is survived by her husband Leslie E. Moore and two children Dae L. (Moore) Sawyer and Chase A. Moore as well as son-in law Steve Sawyer and two grandchildren Bryn & Jadon Sawyer. Her surviving siblings are Cindy Montgomery, Laneece Morgan, James Ramsey, and Wende Bruce.
Carol lived an exemplary life full of love for, and service to others. She was an accomplished artist, an exceptional creative, and passionate about women's ministry and mentorship in her home church, Northcrest Baptist Church, where she attended with her husband Les.
The lives she touched are many and her presence will be deeply missed by her family and community.
A memorial service will be held on January 18, 2019, 7 P.M. at Northcrest Baptist Church 3412 N Hills St, Meridian, MS 39305.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you reflect on Carol's example to love fiercely, and live with great purpose and service to others.
