Mrs. Gore loved the color pink and the Pink Panther, but she really loved football; especially the Auburn Tigers, “WAR EAGLE”! She retired from General Motors after over 30 years working for them. She started out in Meridian, MS, where she worked at Delco Remy and then transferred to Tanner, AL, where she worked at Delphi Saginaw. She was active in her church, Tanner Baptist, but her membership remained Calvary Baptist Church in Meridian. She was also a member of Meridian Chapter 11 Order of the Eastern Star.
Beverly was first and foremost a wonderful mother who loved her children. She was the very best NaNa to all her grandkids. She shared a very special bond with her first grandson, Jay. Mom loved all animals, but she really adored her horses and dogs. She had a very loving relationship with each of her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She enjoyed family time and especially a grilled steak cooked by her son in law, Danny.
Beverly attended and graduated from Meridian High School, class of “66”. She had life-long friends that she cherished. Beverly was a very independent and strong woman. She will be remembered for all the love she had for her family.
Pallbearers will be Jay Dubose, Danny Joe Smith, Josh Walton, Paul Smith, Steve Parker Sr. and Billy Jack Ethridge.
The family welcomes flowers but if you would like to donate to a charity, they would be honored if you donated to the Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital, in Jackson, MS.
