Graveside services for Billy Joe Boyette will be Saturday, January 18, 2020, 3:00 pm, at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Bro. Frankie Boyette will be officiating.

Barham Funeral Home Forest Lawn Chapel is handling his arrangements.

Mr. Boyette, 77, died Friday at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian. He was retired from the Meridian Fire Department, with 21 years of service as a firefighter. He was also a longtime paper carrier for the Meridian Star as well as an electrician, and at one time operated the Little Village Daycare. He was a kind-hearted person that was proud of Meridian and loved by all.

He is survived by his children Stephanie Boyette Campbell (Tony) and Molly Espey (Robert); grandchildren Madison Vincent (Benjamin), Jacob Smith, Shelton Espey and Benton Espey; a great grandchild Josephine Vincent, a God-child Sterling Garrett as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Molly Boyette; his wife Pam Boyette; two brothers and two sisters.
