Billy Hastings

Graveside services for Billy Glenn Hastings, 83, will be Thursday, January 20, 2022, at 10:00am at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery.  Bro. Jim Rickles and Bro. Marcus Finch will be officiating. Webb & Stephens Funeral Home – Downtown has been entrusted with his care. Mr. Hastings died Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Hastings was retired from the 186th Air Refueling Wing with 40 years of military service. He was a devoted grandfather as well as a Deacon at his church, Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.

He is survived by his children Terri Lynn Hastings, Jan Lee (Gary), and Julie Alphin (Wesley); grandchildren Beau and Shelby Alphin, Marissa and Matthew Lee, and Sara and Joseph Jilcott.

He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew Hastings and Iva Steele; his wife Shirley Jean Hastings; his daughter Geri Hastings; a granddaughter Meredith Lee; his sister Thelma Harris and his brother Wayne Hastings.
