Billy Knight

Services for Mr. Billy Knight will be held at graveside on Sunday, June 7, 2020, 2:00 p.m., at Mt. Gilead Cemetery with Rev. Marcus Finch and Rev. Jim Rickles officiating.

Mr. Knight, 85, of Meridian, passed away on June 4, 2020 at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Knight was the owner of Knight's Grocery. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 65+ years, Barbara Knight; Daughter, Brenda Harkins (Travis); Grandchildren, Amanda Steakly (Josh), Angela Woodall (Josh), Kelli Harkins, Brian Harper, Brent Holloman, Dusty Talbert; Great Great children, Brandon Harkins, Hunter Steakly, Matthew Woodall, Breanna Steakly, Haley Steakly, Jacob Woodall, Damon Harper, Brock Holloman, and Braxton McQueen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Lucille Knight; and by two daughters, Beverly Harper and Beth Robinson.
