Mrs. Blanche T. Entrekin

Services for Mrs. Blanche T. Entrekin will be held Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Beltcher and Rev. Afton Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Horeb Baptist Church Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Entrekin, 78, of Meridian, passed away on February 27, 2011 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a long time member of Mt. Horeb Baptist Church and the Mt. Horeb Baptist Church Womens Ministry. She was an avid gardener and member of Eastern Star. She contributed to numerous charitable organizations and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. While her family and friends are in sorrow in her passing, God is welcoming her home.

She is survived by her children, Cynthia Gail Entrekin Ward, Willie T. Entrekin Jr., Martha June Joiner and her husband Joseph her grandchildren, Luther Wayne Sheffield Jr., Willie James Franklin, Stephiane Lee Hayden, Michael Hayden, Victoria Nicole Jones, Thomas Jacob Joiner, April Renee Hatten, and Anthony Hatten her great grandchildren, Breanna Lynn Sheffield, Kolbie Wayne Sheffield, Tyler Wayne Sheffield, Kaitlyn Amya Hatten, McKayla Jordan Franklin Hatten, Sarah Renee Hatten, Emily Leigh Hatten, Kaleb Sheby Hatten, Carmen Scarbrough, Ryan Jones and Robert Jones her sister, Carolyn Lezett Entrekin and brothers, Robert Everett Thomas Thompson Jr. and Mason Thompson and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie T. Entrekin Sr. her parents, Robert Everett Thomas Thompson Sr. and Marjorie Thompson Mother and father in law, Albert Quitman and Veli Wages Entrekin and one grandchild, Albert Everett Entrekin.

Pallbearers are Joseph Joiner, Thomas Joiner, Anthony Hatten, Michael Hayden, Carol McLemore, and Kolbie Sheffield.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Webb Funeral Home from 57 pm.
