Bobbie Jean Hamrick
On June 24th, 2018 Mrs Bobbie Jean Hamrick slipped into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Bobbie was born April 14, 1935 in Meridian, Mississippi. Bobbie Jean was married to Tommy Lee Hamrick in 1952 and they were happily married for 66 years. Bobbie and Tommie moved to Pasadena Texas in 1969 with their three children.
Services were held on June 29, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Pasadena, Texas at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Jon Redmond officiating.
Bobbie is survived by her husband of almost 66 years, Tommy Lee Hamrick; Sons, Gary (Sabrina) and Danny; Grandchildren, Lauryn, Courtney, Thomas, and Chariel; Great grandchildren; Isla and Rhett; Sister, Dot Hoffer; Brother, Dennis Price (Bonnie) and Sister in law, Jewel Lawson of Stonewall, MS.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lillie Price; Son, Ricky Hamrick; Sister, Linda Martin and brother in law, Walter (Butch) Martin.
Pallbearers are Gary Hamrick, Thomas Hamrick, Steve Hamrick, Wally Martin, Michael Martin, and Colby Martin.
She will be missed by many from Texas to Mississippi. Bobby Jean never met a stranger in her life and helped any and all. She worked for the IRS in Mississippi, but quickly turned her attention to being a mother when her children were born. She worked in sales and photography for a short period of time. Her primary hobby was shopping and talking about what she had shopped for. People rarely saw her without a phone and many thought she would be buried in a phone booth.
