Services for Mr. Bobby Wayne Carmichael will be held Monday, September 21, 2015 at Webb funeral home Chapel, 10:00 a.m., with Bro. Charles Pierce Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 on Sunday, September 20th. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Carmichael, 68, of Meridian passed away on Friday, September 18, 2015 at Queen City Nursing. He loved God, his church, his family, and his country. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He was the proudest "Pop Pop" in Meridian. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war.
He was survived by his wife, Jewel Carmichael; Step daughter, Karen Storey (Luke); Step sons, Michael Reed (Kelly) and Bobby Reed Jr.; Sister, Deborah Prather; Brother, John W. Prather Jr.; Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren; and one niece.
He was preceded by his parents, Emma Joe and John W. Prather Sr.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Peace Tabernacle Revival Center, 1609 Tommy Webb Drive, Meridian, MS.
