Bobby Reece

A graveside service for Bobby Gene Reece with be held Saturday, January 2, 2020, 3:00 p.m., at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Lynne Anderson officiating.

Mr. Reece, 87, of Lauderdale, passed away Wednesday at his residence.

Gene served his country in the United States Navy. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and tending to his vegetable gardens. There was never a dull moment with Gene, as he was known to be quite the cut-up. He will be remembered most for being a devoted husband, and loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Reece; stepsons, Alan (Sherry), Tim, and Steve (Joyce) McDaniel; grandchild, Cory Reece (Laura); step grandchild, Jessie Pevey (Dallas); and three great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his sons, William and Bobby Reece; and parents, Calvin and Sibbi Reece.
