Bobby Ray (Bubba) Townsend

A Memorial Gathering for Bobby Ray (Bubba) Townsend will be held Friday from 5-8 pm at Webb Funeral Home.

Mr. Townsend, 63, of Meridian, died Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Anderson Hospital. He was the former owner and operator of Townsend Body Shop.

He is survived by his wife, Christeen Shelby Townsend; son, Bobby Ray Townsend, Jr. and wife Samantha; brother, Billy Joe Townsend; sister, Vicki Smith; grandchildren, Hunter, Tyler, and Pyper Townsend; aunt and uncle, Bobby and Lucille Gibson; aunt, Mary Gibson; cousins, Dennis and Bonnie Price, Dot Hoffer, Darlene and Sammy McInnis, and George and Howard Gibson; brother and sister in laws, Billy and Shirley Hasting, Virgil and Helen Reed, Michael and Betty Guszak, Frank and Carol Digiovanni, and James Bunyard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Wila Merle Townsend.
