Bonnie Vivian Estes Dean

April 9, 1942 — November 13, 2024

Little Rock

Bonnie Vivian Estes Dean, 82, of Little Rock, passed away at her home the morning of Wednesday, November 13, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Bonnie will be remembered as being a loving wife, stepmother, grandmother, and a very special aunt. She was good judge of character and definitely one of a kind. Bonnie worked at Maywebb Hosiery Mill in Meridian until the mill closed. She went on to work at the Silver Star until health problems forced her to retire. Before the decline of her health, she was an excellent cook, known for her Hummingbird Cake and her special Christmas dinner spreads she laid out each year.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, James “Bob” Roy Dean; her stepson, Roy Dean (Paulette); her step grandchildren, Jacob Dean and Jessica Goldman (Andrew); along with ten step great-grandchildren; and her very special niece, Angela Spears and her son, Tanner Brown.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mable Wallace of Tennessee; her sister, Pat Todd of Tennessee; and her mother-in-law, Doris Dean Jones; along with her childhood friends, Berta and Junior Murphy of Monterey, Tennessee.

Graveside services for Bonnie will be held on Saturday, November 16th, beginning at 12pm, at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, with Bro. Wayne Hunt officiating the services.

Serving as pallbearers for the service will be David Pierce, Jacob Dean, Roy Dean, and Wayne Barrett. Serving as the honorary pallbearers are Tanner Brown and Jeremy Dean.

The staff of Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes-Downtown is grateful for the opportunity to honor Bonnie’s life and memory and to serve her loving family during this time.
