Services for Mrs. Brenda Reece Skrmetta will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Null officiating. Interment will be in Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Skrmetta, 65, of Meridian, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at her home. She was a member of First Assembly Church of Meridian. Mrs. Skrmetta and her husband owned and operated The Snow Factory for 20 years, serving over a million snowballs to families in the Meridian area. A devoted mother, daughter, grandmother and sister, she leaves a legacy of enduring faith to all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, George Skrmetta of Meridian Daughter, Georgia Skrmetta Storey and her husband David of Ocean Springs, MS Son, Ron Skrmetta of Meridian her Grandchildren, Matthew Byrne Storey and Rachel Abigail Storey both of Ocean Springs,MS Sisters, Faye Fulcher and her husband Henry of Meridian, Jackie Shissler and her husband Lee of Phoenix, AZ Brothers, Raymond Reece and his wife Gladys, Lamar Reece and his wife Wynona both of Meridian Sister in law, Linda Reece of Meridian she was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Cleo and Annie Mae Reece by one brother, Donald Reece.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at James F. Webb Funeral Home from 11 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers family and friends may make donations to First Assembly Church of Meridian.
