Catherine Eileen Parisi

Cathy was born August 2, 1947, to Arnold and Thalia Ritchie. She attended Millsaps College where she earned a degree in elementary education with an emphasis in reading. Later in life she received an associates degree in landscaping and horticulture. She loved nature and inspired all those around her to do the same, finding amazement in the wing of a butterfly, the shape of a leaf, or the colors in a tree. Her laugh was infectious, and her heart was huge. She will truly be missed and was deeply loved. She is survived by her two sons Charles William Johnson and Edward Kyle Johnson of Colorado; her sister Linda McInnis (Richard); nieces and nephew Stacy Blalock (Jared), Joanna Mitchell (Justin), and Shannon McInnis along with her beloved great nieces and nephew.
