Mr. Cecil A. Melton

Funeral services for Mr. Cecil A. Melton will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 at Webb Funeral Home Chapel, 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Macon Phillips, Rev. Taylor Wallace, Rev. Richard Cothern and Rev. Ed Shoemaker officiating. Interment will be in Enterprise Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Melton, age 75, of Enterprise, passed away on August 6, 2013 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. Cecil was retired from the City of Enterprise after serving for many years as their Water and Sewage Superintendent. He had also served on the Board of Aldermen for the city of Enterprise and was a Past President of the Mississippi Rural Water Association. He was a member of Enterprise Baptist Church and served as a Deacon there.

He is survived by his Wife, Mabel Melton Daughter, Lisa Horne Jeff Son, Shane Melton Sister, Kay Melton Creel Brother, Steve Melton Judy Sister in law, Marcia Murray Kenneth and Five 5 Grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Emmett and Lena Melton Brothers, Jack Melton, Rube Melton, and Wilbur Melton.

Pallbearers are Darrell Big Chancelor, Larry Murray, Randy Freeman, Kevin Hale, J.D. Simpson, Lance Melton, Kirk Murray, and Kyle Murray.

Honorary Pallbearers are James Robert Kamper, Bobby Brewer, Ken Purvis, and Jimmy Crane.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Webb Funeral Home from 5 8 pm.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Enterprise Baptist Church.
