Services for Mrs. Celia Carter Clark will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Campbell officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Webb Funeral Home from 4 - 6 p.m. Interment will be in Chunky Cemetery.
Mrs. Clark, of Chunky, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 at her home surrounded by friends and family. She was a school teacher and worked at the Post Office in Chunky, but is best known for working with her husband at their grocery store. She enjoyed doing needlepoint, crochet, and knitting and also playing the piano. The thing she enjoyed the most was being a devoted wife.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Clark; Daughter, Cay Clark; Son, Col. William C. Clark (Jennifer); Granddaughter, Christie Clark; Sister, Cathy Harper (Buddy); Brother, Tommy Carter (Carolyn) and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents, Hugh and Mary Carter; and by her inlaws, Marvin and Helen Clark.
Pallbearers are Chris Massey, Scotty Fleming, Charles Hurst, Ben Jordan, Johnny Clark, and Jason Clark.
Honorary pallbearers are Cary Carter, Charles Carter, Christopher Carter, Drew Dieckmann, and Jacob Fulton.
