Funeral services for Charles Ray Locklear will be held Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 1:00pm at Webb Chapel with Rev. James Gordon officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Locklear, 80, passed away March 11, 2018 in Meridian. He was retired from Southern Pipe and Supply Company after 48 years. He loved to turkey hunt and was an avid University of Alabama fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dock and Lottie Locklear; one brother and three sisters.
He is survived by his wife of 28 ½ years Merle Locklear; sons: Steve (Wanda) Locklear, Chad (Jan) Locklear, Lex (Missy) Locklear, Chuck (Dana) Massey and Walter (Kim) Skudlarek; grandchildren: Lexie Locklear, Jodie Locklear, Drew Locklear, Sarah Locklear, Ethan Reed, Corey (Brantley) Massey, Christian Massey and Cayden Massey; great grandchild, Paxton Smith.
Pallbearers will be Corey Massey, Christian Massey, Cayden Massey, Lester Gressett, Tommy Vincent and Rick Robinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Drew Locklear, Ethan Reed and Paxton Smith.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00pm before service at the funeral home.
