Mr. Charles V. " CV" Morgan
Services for Mr. Charles V. Morgan will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel at 1 pm with Bro. Donald Gentry officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 4 - 6pm at Webb Funeral Home. Interment will be held in Forest Lawn Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home will be in charge of his arrangements.
Mr. Morgan, 94, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was veteran, serving in the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of 8th Avenue Baptist Church. He was one of the last of the original Tuxedo "crowd". He had moved away a couple of times, but, he always came back to Tuxedo and considered it home.
He is survived by his Two Daughters, Dianne Delaney (Don) and Betty Hughes (Steve); Two Sons, Wayne Morgan (Ann) and Bobby Morgan (Sybil), all of Meridian; Nine Grandchildren, Lisa Morgan McMahan, Sheila Morgan, Cynthia Morgan Partridge, Dana Morgan Buse, Angela Delaney Cates, Andrea Delaney, Kevin Morgan, Lauren Hughes, and Tyler Hughes; Eight Great Grandchildren, Steward McMahan, Kaleb Price, Charlee Zimmermann, Morgan Partridge, Matthew Partridge, Kaitlyn Kinney, Nicholas Kinney, and Connor Buse; Four Great Great Grandchildren, Kaleigh McMahan, Alyssa McMahan, Zoe Zimmermann, and Naomi Zimmermann; and Special Nephews, Sonny Barnett and Billy Ray McCarra (Betty Faye).
He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Myra Adell Morgan; Parents, Joseph and Mamie Morgan; Five Brothers; and Two Sisters.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Hughes, Steward McMahan, Kaleb Price, Sonny Barnett, Billy McCarra, Johnny McMahan, Mike Partridge, Nicholas Kinney, Matthew Partridge, and Connor Buse.
