Cheri Hembree

Funeral services for Cheri Renee Hembree will be Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 12:00 pm at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home, north chapel, on Highway 39N, in Meridian, MS. Bro. Dennis Robinson and Bro. Chris Gully will be officiating. Interment will follow in Bloomfield Church Cemetery in Neshoba County. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hembree, 52, died December 25th, 2021, at Anderson Regional Medical Center. Pallbearers will be Eddie Ortiz, Justin Short, Paul Smith, Ken Covington, Keith Covington, and Jason Wright.

Cheri was born December 23, 1969, to Cathy and Charles Warren. On February 14, 1992, she married the love of her life, Jerome. Cheri enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing with her husband. She loved the Lord and was a member of Blackwater Baptist Church. Her grandchildren meant the world to her, and they absolutely loved her. She had been suffering for over 14 years with a debilitating sickness and the Lord finally called her home and healed her.

She is survived by her husband Jerome Brooks Hembree; her daughters Britney Short (Justin) and Jennifer Ortiz (Eddie); 4 grandchildren Leilah Clark, Remmington Short, Tesla Ball, and Serenity Ortiz; her mother Cathy Warren; her sister Connie Barker, and her brother Charlie Warren Jr.

She was preceded in death by her father Charles Warren Sr. and a son Jerome “Little Jay” Brooks Hembree Jr.
