Christine Nix

Graveside Services for Mrs. Christine Nix will be held on Monday, August 24, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Enterprise Cemetery with Revs. Roy Dabbs and Danny Davis officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Nix, 78, of Meridian died Thursday, August 20, 2009 at Golden Living Center. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Frank Nix of Spring Hill, TN; daughters: Cathy Gentry and husband, Torrey of Pellham, AL; Theresa Minchew and husband, Dale of Meridian, and Angela Nix of Meridian. Grandchildren: Kimberly and J.C. Nix, Hannah and Hillary Downey, Matt Minchew and his wife, Tiffani; and Jana Minchew. One great grandchild, Carsyn Minchew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Nix; Parents, Wiley and Stella Young and twin sister Cathleen Swanner.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 23, 2009 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home
