Christine Riordan

Christine Rachel Riordan (Hernandez) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Anderson Regional Medical Center surrounded by her Family. She was born July 1st, 1937, in Los Angeles California to Robert Albert Hernandez and Cruz Saenz. She would marry Thomas Patrick Riordan in August 1954 and relocate to Baltimore, Maryland. There she would raise 8 children, 4 boys and 4 girls and nurtured, loved and protected them. Mom was our rock and our Hero. She made each of us feel as though we were her favorite.  After spending 16 years in Baltimore the family relocated to Lancaster, California to be close to extended family. Christine would start her business career by working at the LA County Health department for 25 years were she would eventually retire. Even though Mom worked a lot between raising a family and work she never missed an event that her children participated in .  She would always make those special meals on Birthdays and Holidays. Mom also loved to entertain her family and friends.

Mom also loved to travel. She always spoke about her trip to Rome and her cruise to the Caribbean and so many other adventures she loved to take with her daughters and family.

Christine Rachel Riordan is survived by her children, Thomas Patrick Riordan Jr., Robert Patrick Riordan, Bridget Faust, Christine Brown, Kathleen Brakebill, Pamela Riordan, and Kevin Riordan; 12 grandchildren, and 15 Great grandchildren.

Christine is also survived by her brother   Robert Hernandez and her sister Sandra Stokes.
