A memorial service for Clarence Elmer Jones III, (Buddy), will be held Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 10:00am at James F. Webb Funeral Home.

Clarence Elmer "Buddy" Jones III, 64, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at U.M.M.C in Jackson, MS. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of his arrangements.

Buddy was a computer whiz who loved researching his family tree, music and studying the genealogy of rock music and the history of various musicians tracing their roots from one group to another. He was also a National Merit finalist in high school. The two biggest things to him were music and family.

He is survived by his mother Henrietta Crampton Jones and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Elmer Jones Jr.
