Funeral services for Mr. Clayton W. Sheffield will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Wells officiating. Interment will be held at Liberty Cemetery in the Dufee Community. James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Sheffield, age 74, of Meridian passed away on December 18, 2012 at Rush Hospital. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. He began his career with the railroad working for GMO Railroad and finished with KCS Railroad, retiring in 1999 after 32 years of service. He was given the nickname door knob by his railroad buddies.

He is survived by his Wife, Betty Sheffield by his Children, Leslie SheffieldKingery and her husband John, Michael Sheffield and his wife Tammy, Hope Muise and her husband Don, and Billie Sue Alost and her husband Terence Grandchildren, Rhonda Ayn KingeryKicta, Kailee Muise, Derik Muise, Dillon Muise, Jordan Alost, and Elisabeth Alost Two Sisters, Helen McConnell and her husband Joe and Claudia Garner and her husband Steven

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clay and Geneva Sheffield and by a Brother, Oscar Sheffield.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Webb Funeral Home from 5:00 7:00 pm.
