Clinton Luke, Jr.

Service for Clinton Odell Jimmy Luke Jr. will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Giles officiating. Burial will be in Gumlog Cemetery. Mr. Luke, 57, of Meridian, died Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Survivors include his children, Greg Luke and his wife, Amy, of Florence, Clint Luke and his wife, Brandi, Char-Lee Luke, all of Florence, Chance Luke of Mt. Herman, La.; grandchildren, Laura Shelton, Christopher Luke, C.J. Luke, and Madison Luke; brothers, Kenny Luke and John D. Luke; three sisters, Vera Mae Johnson, Barbara Payne and Shirley Day. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton Odell Luke Sr. and Ruth Stephens Luke. Pallbearers will be Andy Weir, Rusty Weir, Wesley Weir, Scott Nause, Will McQueen, David Jenkins, Chris Nobles and Stephen Sypolt. Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
