Graveside services for Mr. Clinton Vaughn will be held Tuesday January 28th at 10 am at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Kim Culpepper and Jack Mayatt will be officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
Mr. Vaughn, 92, of Meridian, passed away at his residence on Saturday. He was self employed carpenter. Mr. Vaughn served his country in the U.S. Army and will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting. He also enjoyed watching football and baseball.
He is survived by his son Norbert Vaughn; daughter Fanci Vaughn; stepdaughter Nell Mayatt; grandchildren Monica Vaughn, Greg Vaughn, devoted granddaughter Sara Vaughn and Carter Clinton Vaughn; step-grandchildren Kim and Bryan Culpepper, Carla Stanford, Jack and Cliff Mayatt and Teresa Pittman. Mr. Vaughn is also survived by great-grandchildren Kyle Vaughn, Bailey Vaughn and Cayden Vaughn along with special family friend Beverly Bryson.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clifton and Inez Vaughn; wife Ferrell Vaughn; brothers Joe, Ernest and Charlston; sisters Vivian, Katy and Mamie.
Pallbearers will be Kim Culpepper, Jack Mayatt, Cliff Mayatt, Terry King, John Willis and Bobby Wilder.
