Burial will be in the church cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Myers, 91, died Monday, Aug. 31, 2009, at Queen City Nursing Center. She was a member of Carmel Baptist Church in Meridian. Survivors include her son, Tommy L. Meyers and his wife, Sandra, of Meridian; two daughters, Jean Garrett and her husband, L.A. and Debbie Lindsey and her husband, Mike, all of Meridian; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one stepdaughter, Patsey Bonds and her husband, Lex, of Jackson; and one brother, James Edwards and his wife, Laura, of Mobile, Ala. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Lee Myers; and her parents, Jim and Paulene Edwards. Pallbearers will be Butch Garrett, Paul James, Jerry McKee, Wesley Thompson, Doug Olsen, and Wayne Booker.
