Cora E. Dearman

Graveside services for Ms. Cora E. Dearman will be held today at 3:15 pm at Chunky Cemetery with Jim and Dona Crumbley officiating. Burial will be in the Chunky Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Ms. Dearman, 80, of Meridian, died Saturday December 11, 2010 at Poplar Springs Nursing Center. She was a former resident of Lake Harbor in Rankin County, and a founding member of the Lake Harbor Fire Department. She was retired from the Neurosurgery Department at the University Medical Center in Jackson. She also had 12 years of employment with the Childrens Hospital in Los Angeles, California.

She is survived by her brother, Harmon Dearman and wife Jackie of Jefferson, Georgia nieces, Christy Keeton, Joy Boles, and Dona Crumbley nephews, Mike Dearman and Thomas Dearman and several great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Denver C. and Annie Mae Dearman brother, Bill Dearman and a nephew, Mark Dearman.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial be made to Lake Harbor Baptist Church in Brandon, Mississippi.

Visitation will be today from 1 2:30 pm at Webb Funeral Home.
