Daisy Adcock

January 10, 1919 — May 27, 2019

Services will be held for Mrs. Daisy Isabelle Adcock will be held Wednesday, May 29th, 11:00 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Butler officiating. A graveside service will follow at Mt. Pleasant Jacksonfield Cemetery in Winston county at 3:00 p.m.

Mrs. Adcock, 100, of Meridian, passed away Monday at Poplar Springs Nursing Center.

Daisy was a lovable lady who was well known for her excellent cooking, especially her fried chicken. She also loved to sew. She will be most remembered for being a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Jean Adcock Uhl; daughter-in-law, Belle Adcock; grandchildren, Duane Adcock, Donald Adcock and wife Sherri, LeAnne Wilhem and husband Lee, and Jeff Uhl and wife Kathy; five great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Douglas Clark and Ida Crocker Clark Adcock; step father, Jim Henry Adcock; husband, William Pierce Adcock; son, Noel Adcock; son-in-law, Eric C. Uhl; and grandson, Douglas Adcock.

A visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 prior to service Wednesday.
