Dan G. Hunt, 64, of Meridian, MS, passed away Wednesday, November 16,2016 at Jeff Anderson Hospital. He was born September 7, 1952, the son of Cecil and Eloise Van Meter Hunt. He was a graduate of Coal Grove High School and a welder at CI Metal Fabrications in Meridian. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Louwilda(Billie)Hunt Langley Paxton, three brothers Robert(Bob)Hunt, Milton(Butch) Hunt and Lawrence (Tony) Hunt. He is survived by his wife of 33 years Mary Ann Seeley Hunt, two children,daughter Dana Danielle Hunt of Memphis, TN and son Jason Gregory Hunt of Meridian, MS, daughter-in-law Terrah Sheffield Hunt, the two loves of his life his two grandchildren, Austen Hasseltine of Memphis, TN and Leah Hunt of Meridian, MS three sisters Bonnie Hunt Colbert of Grenada , MS, Geri (Earl) Aldridge of Gainsville, TX, and Cecilia (Charles) Forbush, one brother Gordon Lambert of Micanopy, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was a loving husband, father, and a friend to many.
A viewing will be held Monday 1-230 at James Webb Funeral Home in Meridian, MS followed by a burial at 330 at Bucatunna Cemetery, located on HWY 514 in Snell community Clarke County. All are welcome to pay respects.
