Mr. Daniel Wade Miles

Services for Daniel Wade Miles will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Jones Chapel Church of God. Interment will be held in Jones Chapel Church Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Daniel Wade Miles, 75, was born on August 27, 1938 in Meridian, MS and went to his heavenly home to be with our Lord and Saviour on Saturday, October 12th. Wade served in the U. S. Navy from 1957 to 1961 and retired from General Motors in 2001. Wade was a dedicated member of Jones Chapel Church of God where he served on various boards, was a youth leader, taught Sunday School and Small Groups and member of the choir.
Wade enjoyed golfing and fishing and was a member of Quitman Country Club, but his passion was his family and church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Alice Dale Miles, a son, Michael Wade Miles and wife, Sissy. Daughter, Dana Lynn Smith and husband, Paul. Grandchildren, Joseph Miles, Reanna Miles, Miles Barrett and fiancee, Danielle Cummins, Capri Smith and Abigail Smith and great grand daughter, Ansley Mae Barrett. A brother, Richard Miles and wife Jackie, a sister Sybil Martin and husband Bobby Martin.

Preceded in death by parents, Davis Herford and Opal Miles. Brother, Rev. Charles Miles and sister Shirley Lafferty. .

Visitation will be Monday, October 14th, 2013 at Webb Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. and Tuesday, October 15th, 2013 from 10 11:00 a.m. at Jones Chapel Church of God.

Pallbearers are James Bud Thomas, Johnny Brewer, Jerry Thomas, Miles Barrett, Joe Miles and Jack Rush.

Honorary pallbearers are Orville Shorty Anderson, Rex Anderson, Doug Anderson and Jeff Anderson.
