Services for David Espey will be held today, at 1 p.m., at Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Espey officiating. Burial will be in Frazier Grove Church of God Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Espey, 69, of Collinsville, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was owner and operator of David Espey Taxidermy in Collinsville and had enjoyed doing this for over 15 years. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and was an avid hunter.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Kay Beddingfield Espey of Collinsville two sisters: Nancy Phillips of Meridian, and Lottie Pearl Wallace of Longbranch two nephews and two nieces and a special friend, Benny Harrison.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Marvette and Pauline Espey.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Beddingfield, Mike Wilson, Harold Frazier, Jack Warren, Butch Wallace, Norman Wallace, Michael Scitzs, and Kevin Espey.
Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy White, Benton Espey, Neel Ferrell, and Benny Harrison.
