David Johnson

Graveside services for Mr. David Houston Johnson will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2021, 10:00 a.m., at Concord Cemetery in Enterprise, with Bro. John Wesley Leek officiating.  James F. Webb Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

Mr. Johnson, 94, of Chunky, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021, at his residence.

David retired from the railroad after 30 years. He will be remembered most for being a devoted husband, and loving father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his children, William “David” Johnson (Helen Jo), Johnny Johnson, Cathy Alsup (Joey), Danny Johnson (Terri), and Pat Johnson; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; sister, Jackie Edwards; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William Riley and Nellie Johnson; and wife of 69 years, Linda Johnson.

Pallbearers will include Jonathan McClure, Jimmy Johnson, Bill Johnson, Peter Russell, Johnny Russell, and Andy Jones.
