Graveside services for Dollie Bryant Shelby will be held Monday, November 27, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Frazier Grove Church of God Church Cemetery, with Bro. Randy Caldwell officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Ms. Shelby, 84, of Meridian, passed away November 24 at her home.
Dollie was a strong, loving woman who deeply loved God and her family. She never met a stranger and was thoughtful and selfless. Dollie will be greatly missed but her family will cherish the lifetime of memories they shared with her.
She is survived by her children, Joann Lee, Linda Bryant, Alice (James) Rainer, Lillie Bryant, and Wayne (Meghan) Bryant; granddaughter, Mary Crocker, as well as numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; stepdaughter, Alice (Harold) Simmons.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joe Bryant and Vernon Shelby; children, Joyce Ann Rigdon and Edward Lewis Bryant; her parents, and all of her siblings.
