Memorial services for Donald Jean Poetker will be held Thursday at 10am at Episcopal Church of The Mediator with Pastor Steve Owen officiating.

Mr. Poetker, 88, of Meridian, died Thursday, June 2, 2016 at his residence. He was in the United States Marine Corps and retired from the U.S. Air Force. He also taught psychology at Meridian Community College for several years.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Irene Poetker; step children, Barbara, Billy, Brenda, Debbie, and Mike; his two precious dogs, Ginger and Cotton; and four cats, Tuff Cat, Tabitha, Kallie, and Sassy.
