Doris Florette White

     Doris Florette White, 93, of Newton, passed away peacefully at home the afternoon of Sunday, April 14, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

     Doris was born to W. F. Brown and Mary Ellen (White) Brown on August 4, 1930, in Meridian, Mississippi.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Earl White; daughter, Tina Lauraine White; brother, Larry Brown; son-in-law, Robert Mason; and granddaughter, Sarah Granger.

     Doris is survived by her daughters, Susan Mason and Marilyn Hayes (Harlan); brother, Jerry Brown; grandchildren, Shana Steele, Chase Granger, Brent Granger, and Kate Collins; along with a legacy of ten great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.

     A private family service will be held at a later date to celebrate her life well lived.
