Dorothy Pickard

Services for Mrs. Dorothy Ivagene Pickard will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 12:00 pm, at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Miles officiating. Interment will be at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery and James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Pickard, 78, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 16, 2009 at MS Care Center in Morton, Ms. Dorothy was born in Meridian, MS where she resided until 1987. She then moved to Richland, Ms where she resided untill moving to MS Care Center in 2002. She was retired employee of Winn Dixie of Meridian. She loved her family and enjoyed every minute she spent with them.She and her family also loved and cared for the staff of the Care Center just like they were family members.

She is survived by her two daughters, Nancy McGuffee and Tammy Nichols both of Richland, MS and one son, Dennis Pickard of Richland, MS.; one sisiter, Audrey Lee Moore and her husband Walton Moore of Meridian, MS; one brother, Hs. Bud Stoddard and his wife Jerry of Slidell, LA; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death her husband, Miller Pickard, her parents and three brothers.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from 10:00 am until service time.
