Earnestine Blackwell

Services for Earnestine Culpepper Blackwell will be held Friday, at 10 a.m., at Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Webb officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Blackwell died Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. She was the owner of The Playground daycare in Meridian and also a member of State Boulevard Baptist Church.

Survivors include her three sons: Steve Blackwell and his wife Debbie of Waynesboro, Mark Blackwell and his wife Lisa of Crowley, Texas, and Dr. Manley Blackwell of Livingston, Ala. one daughter, Kay Libert and her husband Rick of Navarre, Fla. five granddaughters: Carley Yarbor, Ashley Devitt, Leslie Blackledge, Amanda Libert, and Emily Libert greatgrandchildren: Braden Yarbor, Steven Byrd, Sawyer Blackledge, Jacey Devitt, and Gavin Blackledge one sister, Freda Bates and her husband Frank brotherinlaw, Al Gartin and sisterinlaw, Elsie Ashcraft.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Marguerite Culpepper her husband, Robert Blackwell and sister, Myrtle Gartin.
