Edwina Connell

Services for Edwina Clarke Connell will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hutchinson officiating. Burial will be held at Rosehill Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Connell, 94, died, Sunday, July 20, 2008 at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was a retired bookkeeper for Bordens and also was a member of the Lady's Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars. She is survived by her son, George Connell and wife, Vera of Bailey; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; two cousins, George Hester of Hattiesburg, and Alvin Clarke of Rockford, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Edward Clarke and Martha Stoker Clarke. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
